EVOLUTION

According to Amrita, everything in her life happened luck by chance. She had started attending her college in Jadavpur; when incidentally she met Vineet in a show and he pulled her into Bhawanipore College.

They started very early at age under the college’s banner, she had never planned up things this way. But soon she was getting lumpsum as never expected. “Then in 2003 it was just a casual approach”, Amrita states. “I was into dancing and Vineet was good at script writing – That is how it was!”

Q. How do you look back on DID experience?

Amrita did not even know anything like DID is coming up before she went for the auditions. Infact she was inundated with commitments and was not really interested. In a day’s time Vineet edited the thing and was continuously giving her Video legs. Finally Amrita turned up in the auditions without costumes or makeup, and was selected!

DOWN THE LINE

On asking how does she see herself in coming 5 years, Amrita expressed, that she has been slogging for last 11 years to be in this position and she has a fantasy for the coming time:
